No Tag? No Problem! Print These DIY Holiday Gift Tags

by M.E. Gray

Free printable gift tags for your holiday wrapping needs!

I literally never remember to purchase gift tags at Christmastime - and I'm not using the term "literally" for extra drama here. I actually cannot recall a single time I've ever picked up gift tags at the store, put them in my shopping basket, and taken them to the register to check out. What usually ends up happening when I'm wrapping presents is I realize my mistake, try to find a nice-enough piece scrap of paper, scribble the recipient's name on the back, throw on a little Scotch tape, and call it a day. Janky, I know. Hence why I love printable gift tags!

DIY window decals - These aren't regular paper snowflakes!

Here in the frozen north (a.k.a. Minnesota), no one really likes snow. As soon as those first puffy flakes come tumbling down from the sky, you can almost hear a unanimous groan echoing across the state. We experienced our first snowfall the weekend after Halloween, and no one was happy about it... except for me. I love the snow! Granted, I'm not from here, so maybe it's just a matter of me not being sick of it yet. The snow is still magical, though. I can't get enough of it, and I am more than happy to hang a few DIY window decals in its honor.

Holiday Decorating with a DIY Dipped Ornament Display

I think it's safe to say Christmas is upon us, and holiday decorating is my favorite time of year! As fun as it is to decorate my home, I tend to stray away from traditional reds and greens for Christmas, so I incorporated pink and a light green color into my decorating with this DIY dipped ornament display that fits in perfectly to my dining room gallery wall. Using lightweight plastic ornaments and twine, this almost-rustic piece of decor...

A Small Hallway Gets a Minimal Makeover

A Small Hallway Gets a Minimal Makeover

Hallways can often be the spaces in the home that get overlooked and definitely taken for granted. They seem to just be a pointless area that allows transportation from one room to the next. And really, they deserve just as much attention to detail than any other space in the house. It might just be an area that feels aimless and wayward, but maybe it just needs a little love and attention.

Make a Macrame Wrapped Wall Light in Less than an Hour

I've been practicing macrame a lot recently and even though I'm still a beginner, I love creating unique projects with this basic twisted macrame pattern (as you may have seen in my DIY twisted macrame keychains earlier this week). Because I have a love for Edison light bulbs, I'd planned to create my own dangling wall light in our living room for months, and this simple macrame wrapped wall light DIY was the perfect solution.

Make This: Hanging Fabric Planter

by M.E. Gray

DIY hanging fabric planter to organize your indoor greenery

I was recently reading an article on how millennials are especially attracted to houseplants as it gives them something to care for since they can't really afford to care for anything else (the article is here if you're interested). As a millennial, you can count me in as slightly offended but also totally in agreement. My home is slowly being filled with all things leafy and green - I just can't help myself. With all these plants comes the need for somewhere to put them, so let's take to the walls with this DIY hanging fabric planter.
