Today, we’re adding 10 more dining tables you can build yourself to our original 5, which you can see here. In this roundup, we’re covering a variety of styles and DIY capabilities. (Although it might help to have a certain amount of DIY temerity to fabricate the last one on the list!)

Restoration Hardware inspired DIY dining table

First up is this Restoration Hardware inspired table. The original cost $2,205. The DIY version? $110. Nice. Visit Shanty 2 Chic for the plans.

If you’d rather avoid complicated leg construction, then you may want to consider using vintage sewing machine legs instead. Clever. Visit All Sorts of Pretty for more details.

DIY pallet dining table

This shipping pallet used to reside in the maker’s garden until he decided to turn it into a dining table. I love how a previously clunky pallet looks light and airy.

Round DIY trestle dining table

This trestle table from Rogue Engineer puts a new round spin on the typical DIY trestle tables we see around here. Fab.

DIY pedestal table

This next one uses four 4×4’s as a pedestal. Before you say, “It looks tippy,” the maker assures us that it’s plenty sturdy for daily meals and homework for a family of four, but it should NOT be sat upon. Visit House Updated for complete instructions. (Love the bright white top coupled with the dark-stained wood below.)

DIY dining table with copper legs

Copper pipes give this DIY dining table a light and airy feel. And who doesn’t like copper?? Joshua provides the tutorial over at A Beautiful Mess.

This table was built to function as an outdoor dining table, but it’s certainly refined enough to find a home inside as well.

IKEA table top with industrial pipe legs

Couple an IKEA Torsby table top and some industrial pipe and you too could have a cool dining table like this one from Classic in Gray. (Or maybe it’s decor daydreams. Either way, the link will get you to the tutorial).

Door turned dining table

Julien used an old, flat door to make this sleek dining table. I LOVE the use of the metal sheeting at the center of the door that hides the original handle holes. Genius.  Visit instructables for complete details.

DIY concrete dining table

And, finally, David Morse’s ambitious concrete dining table complete with massive pedestals made of no less than 16 4×4’s”! It’s a showpiece if ever there was one. Click here to see how David made it.
