House Beautiful
I’m going to be straight-forward and tell you that most garages get neglected. They become the place where we store, collect, and often hide items that we don’t want to part ways with. It’s so easy to build up a collection of unwanted goods. But what happens when you want to give it a facelift? Here are five garages that blew us out of the water when it came to updating and renovating! Â Â Â
1. This space has to be the ultimate in garage renovations. A 250 sq. ft. mini-house is just what the doctor ordered. Who would ever believe that a car was once parked here?! View more photos of this Garage Mini House over on Shoebox Dwelling.Â
2. This amazing space did a complete 180! What once was a parking space for tractors, is now a beautiful loft that has everything you’d ever need! See more of Shirry Dolgin‘s work right here!Â
3. The first photo of this garage reminds me of my very own. It’s not completely trashed, but it is very cluttered. Utilizing the ceiling space can help any small space seem more organized. View more photos of this sports garage over on DIY Network.Â
4. Has your garage become a place where you can no longer fit an actual car? You’re not alone. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Stop hoarding and start sorting. You’ll be surprised at the amount of space that becomes available! View more photos of this garage over on Country Living.
5. Who said garages have to be manly? This colorful garage belongs to Annie Selke and screams, “I’m feminine, but I can build stuff”. My favorite part? The neon striped walls! See more photos of Annie’s garage over on House Beautiful.
