Roundup: 5 Totally Awesome Leftover Wallpaper Projects!

After under-ordering the wallpaper for our little half bath a few years ago, I was super paranoid about not having enough when we put up this bold, colorful pattern in our guest room.  Turns out, I completely over-ordered and now we have practically a whole roll sitting unused in a closet somewhere.  I've been itching to put it to use in a fun and creative way--and I think I may have hit the jackpot with these five DIY ideas!

1. Turn plain cube shelves (available from craft stores) into snazzy accent points! Check out the how-to on BHG.

2. I love this idea for creating custom stationery with wallpaper scraps. See how on DIYLife.

3. Gift bags galore!  Bold wallpapers make pretty DIY packaging. Head over to Oh Happy Day for the tutorial.

4. An office memo board made from wallpaper-covered clipboards? Yes, please. Full instructions available on Martha Stewart.

5. And finally, this simple centerpiece idea is a great way to use a) leftover wallpaper and b) recycled cans! Check out the DIY details over on BumpSmitten.

I have been slowly using up the last roll of 1959 Waverly wallpaper from the house I grew up in. Mostly I have matted old family photos with it.

Use the scraps to fancy-up notebooks or if they're large enough, to line shelves.
