when using poms do you still use the over under technique, every other one? This couldn't be used as a floor rug could it? It isn't washable with cardboard backing...Hmm...soo beautiful, more detailed instructions as far as how to get it all together, (connect the shapes) and figuring out a more usable cardboard replacement will improve thistapestry exponentially! Can't wait to try it. 

How do you find out how to make this?

I'd like to know how the circles are all held together. I imagine simply tying the two inch stings together wouldn't be enough and I don't see how you could sew them together. Any ideas? It kind of looks like there is a base that they are all mounted on but again, how?

Love this!  I'd probably do a more subdued monochromatic kind of version if I ever make it.

Wow just love this rug.  On the wall or on the floor it looks great.  It reminds me of the fairytale story ' Hansel and Gretel' where everything was made from candy!  Right i am off to buy some rope and give it a go myself.

Oh yeah it would make a fun headboard too. I have four cats and I'm sure they'd love to pull off the poms and play with them and I'd also worry about someone tripping over it. They're just so darn cute though.

I was thinking the same thing - my pup would probably think it was one especially large "toy".  It could be cool adapted as some sort of head board, though.. (going with the wall hanging idea)?
