- Punny Christmas ornaments printable template
- Wood craft rounds or wood ornaments*
- White acrylic paint and paintbrush
- Twine or string
- Mod Podge and paintbrush
*If you're using the wood ornaments rather than the wood rounds, print the template out at 90% size, as the ornament-shaped rounds are slightly smaller than the regular wood rounds.
Download the punny Christmas ornaments printable template, and print on white cardstock. Cut out the designs, cutting just inside the outline of each.
Paint the wood rounds with white acrylic paint, and set aside to dry.
After the painted wood has dried, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge to the front of the rounds. Lay down one of the printed designs, then apply another thin layer on top of the paper. Let dry.
If you're using wood rounds without holes in them, drill a small hole at the top of each of the punny ornaments. Finally, string with twine or thread, and hang on your tree!
I think my favorite one is "deck the hogs." It just doesn't get much goofier than that. These ornaments would be fun to make and give to friends and family, too! After all, who doesn't love a good pun for the holidays?
