Tassels have been making their way around the internet over the past year or two, so much so that it’s rare to see a novel tassel idea. But I think this one is fairly unique (I haven’t seen it before anyway) so I thought I’d share it with you guys! Materials
- 12 faux suede tassels
- 12 hoop earrings
- Pliers
- Wire cutters
Step
Begin by slipping a tassel onto a hoop earring. Remove the shower curtain ring from the rod and slip the hoop over it as shown above.
Step
Slip the end of the hoop through the small loop on the other end and pull tightly until the hoop fits fairly snugly around the shower curtain ring.
Step
Cut off the end of the hoop and bend the end backwards away from you. Slide the tassel down to the front of the shower curtain ring and replace it on the rod.
Step
Repeat the process for all 12 of the tassels. And you’re finished! I wasn’t joking when I said it was easy.
The end result is super cute… it adds some serious character to your shower curtain. And I’m not kidding you – it literally took me 20 minutes from start to finish.
You can find tons of different tassel colors online and at your local craft store, and there are also a variety of metals available so you can play around with different combinations. Have fun!
