Some of these cabinet makeovers are simplier to do than others, but all of them are an inexpensive and easy alternative to replacing your cabinets entirely.
Add textured wallpaper to the center panels.
Adding molding and paint equals a significant change.
Or, you could add some cork to the molding and paint.
If you removed the center panel alltogether, you could replace it with beadboard,
or sheet metal,
or glass or plexiglass.
