In addition to holding my favorite holiday, October is also STEAMPUNK MONTH. So in celebration, I thought I'd round up some of our favorite steampunk decor projects. All are  DIYable, of course.

Once shiny brass (gasp!) light switches that would be at home in the Nautilus.

Pipe bookshelf compete with integrated Edison bulbs lighting. Swoon. 

Silhouettes aren't my thing, but I'm grooving on these cheeky alternatives. (You go girl.)

Old books = new lamp. Yes, please. 

Kristen transformed her 1980's chandelier into a something with a steampunk vibe.

MCM suitcases turned into side tables are cool, but go back a decade or two and the same idea gives us this:

And the culmination of two of my favorite things--be still my heart--a steampunked pumpkin! Perfection.
