Ah, Halloween. The time to show off all sorts of creepy things in various apothecary jars. Which, if done with actual glass jars, can become quite costly- unless, of course, you discover a clever and inexpensive way to fake it. Can you guess what these bell jars were in their former life? If you guessed soda bottles, you are right! With the bottoms and top cap piece missing, they suddenly become the perfect solution to creating a specimen collection without having to dig into anyone’s college fund.
