And sometimes, the piece is just right to create even more impact with texture…giving a piece a custom, hand-designed look. Here are five DIY ideas to give your dresser a full-on, next-level makeover.

Michelle carefully cut wooden rings from the craft store and adhered them to her dresser before the paint job began.  Keeping everything white made the real interest happen in the shadow play of the rings.
