With the weather finally, maybe, starting to warm up it's just about time to start scrubbing off winter's dirt and grime and sprucing up that outdoor living space. If your vinyl furniture looks like it's seen better days, consider this colorful revamp!
After a recent cleaning of his garden deck, Reuben Munoz (of the fabulous blog Rancho Reubidoux - read it!) decided his flea market sofas were too bland and lacked presence. Armed with a creative mind and a few bottles of Createx paint, he transformed their blocky "marshmallow nothingness" into a bold, one-of-a-kind statement piece!
To learn how it was done and see step-by-step photos, check out the full process on Rancho Reubidoux.
So, what do you think Curbliers? Would you be willing to try such a bold and colorful makeover? What colors or design would work for you?
Personally, I loved the shape and style of Reuben's sofas from the get-go, but this transformation is absolutely extraordinary. It makes such a wonderful impact - I'm blown away (and also feeling twitchy to start painting everything in sight). Great job, Reuben!
