5 Modern Swimming Pools That'll Have You Dreaming of Summer!

I don't know what it's like where you live, but the weather here has been utterly schizophrenic lately.  Take yesterday for example: highs in the 60s during the middle of the day, then snow by 8pm!  Madness.  To make it through Winter's last desperate attempts to bring me down, I'm focusing my thoughts on all the sunny days of Summer that lie ahead.  And, what could be more suitable for such a daydream than a roundup of 5 totally gorgeous, modern swimming pools?  Not much.

Ahhhhhh... See?  Now you're ready to take on inclement weather for the next month or so, right?  Snow, rain, and hail be damned?  That's the spirit!

If you've spotted any other modern swimming pools that should be added to our roundup, share in the comments!

Krem, please share some of your designs.

Krem on Apr 29, 2011:

As a pool designer I was expecting much more, these for the most part, are traditonal pools. Although the architecture of the homes (sans the first one) are modern and the pools do feel proportionally correct modern pools are...just that, modern. Seeing those large outlets / lights is abit tacky in my book and we do our best to integrate such features.

wow, those pools are absolutely amazing. Makes me wish I owned one.

Wow not only the pools are fabulous, but so are the houses!
