Our family of five lives in a small condo here in Arizona, and after our latest adorable addition came 3 months ago we've had to get really creative with our space. I have to utilize every square inch of real estate here and that means that there is no room for monsters under our beds- we've got too much crammed under there for them to move in. The need to keep things at a controlled chaos has caused me to search for creative storage solutions like the under-the-bed rolling storage bins above by That's My Letter, and I thought I'd share a few!

If you don't want your storage to roll away, you can build it right in with Ana White's Storage bed plans. Plus, no need for a bed skirt!

Getting ready for the day always proves to leave a sloppy mess on my counter tops. This hair tool storage cabinet is a great DIY solution, by Amy at The Idea Room.

It isn't just my hair tools that need organizing- my jewelry is currently a tangled mess on my bathroom counter as well, thanks to a curious 5-year-old. This jewelry holder made from cutlery trays would be a good problem solver, by Maillardville Manor.

If I was a good girl and put my shoes away, I'd love for my flip flops to have a handy (footy?) place to go, like this hanger hack by EPBOT.

With small kids running around, it is no surprise that little books follow wherever they go. Right now we've got a "library" for them to use during the day, but since I let them look at books before we turn off the light and go to bed, we always have a collection growing at the foot of their beds. A hanging book display by Penny Carnival at arms reach would be a perfect solution for the growing minds at our house.

Another book storage solution comes via IKEA spice racks, found at Domestic Simplicity. This would free up closet space, where I currently have the "library." It would be a good recipe-book holder in the kitchen, too!
What types of creative storage solutions do you use at your house? I'm always on the lookout for good ones!
