Luckily, there are plenty of DIY options for those inexpensive store bought shades, so you won’t have to shell out a ton of cash to get a designer look.   1. I bought a great vintage flamingo lamp with a mis-matched lampshade th at the color did nothing for the lamp…i painted the lampshade a lite green I had from painting my walls.  The lampshade looks fab, like it was made for the lamp & easily done-30 min.
