DIY Idea: Make a 10 Minute Succulent Windowsill Box

by on Mar 7, 2014

House Bella Until I saw Sara’s window planter box, I had always thought that the domain of such things were outside the house. Thanks to windowsills, they have moved inside. (I love windowsills.) Made with leftover timber from another project, Sara’s Mike had the box built in about 10 minutes, although, I’m sure he did some measuring beforehand. (Sara didn’t treat her wood planter, but now suggests we do or use treated lumber because her planter warped a bit from watering.) A quick walnut stain and then a bunch of succulents snuggled inside complete the project. To see pictures of the entire process, visit House Bella.
