Before and After: A Glamorous Bathroom Makeover

There was nothing horrible about the old bathroom... but it didn't have much personality and the color scheme certainly wasn't ideal for the space. A few modern touches and a more subtle wall color take this bathroom from boring to brilliant. Check out the amazing transformation after the jump.

The addition of a few glass elements throughout the room give it an airy feel, while the pale lavender paint color modernizes the small space. A floor to ceiling shower curtain add a sense of luxury, and also make the room feel taller. See lots more photos of Kathryn J. Lemaster's fantastic makeover on her blog. And you can read more about the design process over here.

Hey guys, I just installed a new bathroom vanity so I don't have a use for this. But I thought I'd share in case any of you do! Cabinets To Go (who I got my vanity from) is actually giving away a free bathroom vanity. Just click the link: http://www.cabinetstogo.com/Bathroom-Vanity-Contest.asp and vote for which vanity you want. Then you're entered to win that exact one...pretty easy! GOOD LUCK :))))

I really like the new look of the bathroom. The sink really stands out to me and I like how high you put the shower curtain. It makes me think that its a wall and not a shower their. It looks really nice. Great Job!
