You've probably seen a few DIY chevron projects lately, but... holy mother of all chevrons!  This teal and silver wall blows all other chevron projects out of the water!

Megan Stay, a super talented photographer and DIY junkie, was itching to get something - anything - up on her walls.  After weeks of stalking the "reject paint" bin at her local hardware store (and searching through all the inevitable buckets of not-quite-right beige) she found it: a perfect shade of teal.  With a "go big or go home" mantra, Megan opted to create the ultimate chevron wall - complete with metallic silver stripes!  The result is one freaking awesome accent wall, am I right?

For more photos and info on this DIY chevron wall, check out Megan's blog Mrs. MRS.

So, Curbliers, what do you think?  Would you have the guts to do something this bold in your home??  Share your thoughts in the comments!

And of course, great job Megan!

Perosonally I dislike Chevrons, but this is not bad at all.

Jenee! I was super nervous about it too much using the frog tape combined with sealing the tape edges with the teal paint made for a crisp line. You paint the edge with the color that is underneath the stripe. Once it dries you paint your stripe color over the top and remove the frog tape.

Check out this video:

Nice work and that's great you were able to take such advantage of reject paint. How is it that you only had to do five touchups? I think I've tried everything (including frog tape) and I always end up with a lot of ragged edges when I lift tape so I wouldn't even dare attempt a project like this.

I agree with Sandee.

you ARE cool - before AND after this!

Well, let's face it, you have the coolest chevron wall on the Internet - you should feel cool! ;)

I feel so cool right now.
