My husband and I are a couple in our late-20's. We have lived in Germany for about 5 years and just bought our first home together in 2006. It just happened to be an old timber-frame farmhouse built in 1834 which we fell in love with and now we're going through the process of renovations and making improvements to make the house our home.Some of our upcoming projects on the house will be:converting an old chicken coop into an outdoor patio, complete with tiled floor, outdoor speakers, a buil-in seating area and whatever else we come up withconverting 3 horse stalls into a guest house with the flair of a luxery hotelbuilding out our wine cellar which will entail laying pavers, building a seating area and wine racks and filling it upbuilding a lean-to style greenhouse on the back of our barn for year round veggies building a climbing wall in our barn which will ultimately be about 15m (45 ft) high and casting the climbing grips ourselves creating a garden paradise in our backyard to grow lots of fruits & veggies which will likely require us pouring our own cement molds for bed dividers Other members of our little family include our two neurotic cats and our Newfoundland puppy who just turned one.
