I live in Upstate NY (Rochester) and live in a 1930's bungalow that I'm restoring. It's amazing and I love choosing colors and decorating for as little $$ and as much effort as humanly possible (at least it seems that way most days!).I also keep a blog in which I whine about the process <grin> and post a lot of pictures about things I'm doing and making.http://ideagirl.wordpress.comAnd I keep my pics on flickr. I love color. My entranceway is red and orange and my living room is kermit green! It's so fun to mix things up and play with new arrangements of objects. I think of my house as living inside a piece of art -- and you can keep creating it as you go. That's fun. (Plus things get really clean when you move stuff around a lot <laughing>)My current project is the kitchen. It's gutted and we are close to getting the floor tile in -- so I'm psyched!
