Red Alert Credenza Makeover

by on Sep 20, 2010

As you can see, there are really two makeovers in progress here at Little Green Notebook. The Parson’s desk is a paint re-do, but the credenza makeover is what’s truly mind blowing.  For all of the don’t-paint-wood fanatics, I understand your love of natural wood, but there really is some wood that looks much better with paint. A wood credenza partially repainted white.

If you’ve not ever painted furniture with this small foam roller, you really must try it, at least for the primer. (I like what I see here with the BIN Zinsser 123 Primer.)

If spray painting is the next step, you HAVE to invest in a reusable spray paint sprayer nozzle. Spray painters out there-you know what I’m talking about. Three coats of Rustoleum’s Safety Red Enamel later, and LOOK at this baby. She also added two coats of Wipe On Poly. I’ve never tried the Wipe On, but I am headed to Lowes later on today.

LGB’s office makeover is bright, cheery and full of her custom DIY projects. See how the desk turned out as well as how she got that credenza hardware to shine right  here.

Well done, well done, well done!!!
