Before and After: 5 Budget-Friendly Fireplace Makeovers

There are some ugly fireplaces out there. And renovating one can be a daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be as scary as it seems… and you don’t even have to spend a lot of money! These budget friendly makeovers will knock your socks off, I promise.

The renovation above cost only $82, if you can believe it. Kevin and Layla used wood and paint to achieve this drastic transformation. Head over to The Lettered Cottage to find out how they did it.

Again, paint was a major player in the fabulous makeover above. Limiting the color palette to black and white kept it clean, while the existing shape gave it a bit of a mid-century modern appeal. Click over to ManMade for more information and lots of other photos.
