How to Make Subway Tile Nameplates

by on Aug 9, 2010

These subway tile nameplates are so cute, I wish I had thought of them. A great little something to make for the nursery or a fun summertime craft for the kiddos to tackle; a worthy additionto the ‘to-do’ list. If you don’t already have the supplies on hand, they’re easy to find. Here they are:

  • white subway tile (Craftynest found them for 26 cents each at Home Depot)
  • alphabet stickers
  • various stickers, chipboard letters, rhinestones, etc
  • paint, markers, glitter, etc (optional)
  • variety of scrapbook paper
  • ModPodge
  • scissors
  • 1/4-inch-wide ribbon
  • hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
  • two foam mounting squares
  • paint brush and disposable plate/cup
  • wax paper
