How to make a propagation chamber.

by on Jun 3, 2009

‘Propagation chamber’ sounds like highly complicated do-dad you’d find on the International Space Station, but, in actuality, it’s a simple little set-up that you can put together in minutes with just a few inexpensive supplies. The outcome is the perfect environment to start plant cuttings. To make one for yourself, you’ll need to assemble the following:

  •  a plastic shoebox
  • soil-less potting soil
  • a tiny clay pot
  • a bit of caulk or silicone
  • your favorite root starter
  • plantings
  • snippers
