How to make a matchbox chest of drawers.

by on Mar 9, 2009

So they’re not big enough to actually hold a pair of drawers, but they’d be perfect for storing postage stamps and other tiny treasures.

To make a mini matchbox chest of drawers, you’ll need:

  • 3 empty matchboxes
  • patterned or plain paper
  • PVA glue (my new favorite glue, by the way)
  • flexible tape measure or a piece of string
  • ruler
  • scissors
  • 3 split fasteners, also known as ‘brads’
  • extra doo-dads for decoration, if desired
