Crystal Showers

The new Swarovski store in Ginza, Tokyo is impressive from the outside, but the inside is to die for. Its designer Tokunjin Yoshioka describes his inspiration that came from a vision in a dream: ‘[T]he sky is studded with countless transparent particles of light as if this fantastic sight were floating in the air.’ Ultimately, his concept is now appropriately called the ‘Crystal Forrest.’ To see more pictures and to read an interview with the Mr. Yoshioka, visit Dezeen.
