Do you have a bare wall and wallet? If so, take heart, because these upcycled wall art projects will cover the former and help you forget about the latter…at least for a little while.

If credit cards created that empty wallet in the first place, you may want to chop them up and do a little mosaic. A mirror like this, for example, could be a better use for that plastic. (And if you don’t have that many credit cards — good for you! — but would still like to make one, spent gift cards would work great too.)

Etsy seller dpad used a vintage art print to make this homage to Duck Hunt. The idea could be applied to a variety of garage sale art. (Cracks me up every time I look at it.)
We’re going to finish with a bang. Paul Villinski’s beer can butterflies. The cans, which Paul rescued from the streets of NY, are the ignoble medium but the process and outcome is not. Paul calls the butterflies’ production ‘a quiet physical meditation, a yoga of tin snips and files and fingers.’ Gorgeous.
