How to Decorate in Grayscale

by on Dec 21, 2011

House to Home refers to these rooms as monochrome probably because it sounds prettier than grayscale, but my Nikon would interpret them as the latter. My eyes, however, interpret them gorgeous. Although, I’m wondering if after living in them for a while, I’d start to feel like I was living in a more posh-y version of The Dick Van Dyke Show. What do you think? Does grayscale work for you or is the lack of color off-putting? If you answered ‘yes’ to the first part of that question, visit House to Home to find out how to get the look.

One thing about grayscale, when color IS added, like the blossoms in the centerpiece below, it does pop.
