Before and After: Linoleum Floor Makeover

After tackling a few kitchen re-do projects, this family still had one big, ugly problem in their kitchen.  The linoleum floor, worn out and lifeless, needed help.  But when the budget doesn’t allow for new floors, the family opted for paint.   What?  Paint on linoleum?  Yes indeed!

The old floor looks completely new with a coat of paint, stencil, and a few coats of poly.  While Sally at A Warm Conversation says not all linoleum will take paint so well, hers has been holding up perfectly for a few months.

  1. Just a friendlly FYI for accuracy….what you’re showing isn’t linoleum… it’s vinyl flooring. True linoleum is an eco friendly product and only comes in solid colors.
