Design Blogger Wish List: Brittni Mehlhoff of papernstitch

by on Nov 30, 2011

created at: 11/30/2011This holiday season, Curbly asked our friends, peers, and favorite design bloggers to stop by, have some hot cocoa, and tell us what gifts they’d like to receive this year. Today, we’re excited to welcome Brittni Mehlhoff, of papernstitch.

Just a couple of months ago, my husband and I packed up everything we owned and drove across the country, with our dog and cat in-tow, to a new place in Seattle. Its been a big adjustment moving from our old home in Florida to a loft in the city, but we love it here so far. Now all we need to do is finish up with the decorating. So this holiday, I’ll be asking for playful, modern gifts to dress up our new space and make it feel like home.

1. A-Frame Plant Hanger designed by Danny Simon for Poketo: I am not quite use to the fact that I don’t have a yard anymore. So I’ll have to bring the outdoors in instead. This planter would be perfect hanging next to a window with lots of light.

2. Homestead Candlesticks by Ladies and Gentlemen: How could I not love these candlesticks? They are super cute and bonus – they could represent our old home and our new one, since there are two.

3. Wooden Jewelry Hanger by Monkey & Squirrel: I am kind of a jewelry hound, so this would be great for displaying my favorite pieces as wall decor.

4. Original Collage by Erin Dollar: My favorite thing to give and receive during the holidays is artwork. And collage has a special place in my heart. I absolutely love this piece.

5. Ash and Porcelain Desk Catch-All from Fashioned by: I spend a lot of time at my desk and I like to keep it organized, so this would be perfect. The nook for Post-Its was clearly made for me (I use Post-Its for everything).
