Even though it snowed yesterday where I live (Hello, weather! It’s May! Get a grip.), my thoughts are occupied by visions of summer and lounging in the sun with a good book. Of course, to lounge one would need a lounge chair. I’m thinking of giving this rustic-meets-modern version a go!
Depending on where you live, getting your hands on birch logs can be a challenge. Fortunately, this tutorial from HomeMade Modern can be adapted to a variety of cylindrically-shaped materials. If you do go the log route, just make sure you saw, sand, and arrange your pieces so you don’t have any weird, pokey bits.
