How To: Make Your Own DIY Stamped Tea Towels!

I'm known by some to be a bit of a tea towel hoarder (which is an easy thing to become when there are SO MANY awesome designs out there).  But lately I've been itching to make my own, which is why this simple tutorial from Centsational Girl is rocking my world!

Using fabric paint and regular old stamps, Kate Riley of Centsational Girl fame created these pretty and durable DIY tea towels.  Aren't they lovely?  My favorite aspect of this project is how customizable it is: I'm more of a bold 'n' colorful pattern girl myself so adapting this technique to fit my style would be a cinch!  (Update: I want to try it with something like these geometric stamps that Kate from Minieco made from erasers!). Here is a great place to get blank tea towels, and grab some of these rubber printing blocks if you really want to get creative.

Check out the complete tutorial over on Centsational Girl and let us know what design you're eager to stamp!

P.S. You guys, we should totally have a tea towel stamping party!  Who's in??

Great idea. And maybe even better for a personalized gift for next Christmas.

Dana - Awesome! Let us know how they turn out! :)

Great design idea, I'm currently looking for a creative present for my sister and will test this idea with the towels out. I hope she likes it ;-).
