Ikea Hack: How to Make an Upholstered Headboard with an Ikea Bedframe

Looking for a weekend project to try? How about a DIY headboard using a simple Ikea bed frame. You’ll just need the items you see above to make your own.

Emily Henderson is at it again with another cool DIY idea perfect for those weekend Do-It-Yourselfers out there. Make your own upholstered headboard with a simple Ikea bed frame (TARVA). Here’s how it turned out…

And if you’re not into this more girly version, you can completely change the look with a different fabric. Here’s the same DIY headboard (below) with a different fabric stretched over it. My favorite!
