We've made a real effort this year to ramp up our original content and roundups for the holiday season. Believe it or not, we actually started planning this stuff out in August! As a result, I think we have a collection of gift guides, roundups, and original content that is really superb (I admit, even I was shocked by how many posts it turned out to be).
In case you've missed any of it, or just want an easy way to see it all laid out, I'm going to list it all below! Come along!
As they say, coziness is next to godliness. (Wait? Is that not what they say?) This time of year I like nothing better than a stout evergreen tree (complete with kitschy ornaments and twinkle lights), something toasty sweet baking in the oven, Sufjan Stevens' Christmas album, and a free Saturday to enjoy it all with my husband.
Hi there! My name is Ez (pronounced ee-zee) and I am most often found on my blog Creature Comforts where I write about DIY craftiness, share my photography, and post design inspirations...as well as any other thing that strikes my fancy. For me the holidays are all about the time you spend making memories with your friends and loved ones. It's fun to dream about presents under the tree, but even more than the gifts that will be unwrapped, the laughter and craziness of my huge family squeezed into one small house are what I look forward to most of all this holiday season. (Okay...and an iPhone. I'm hoping someone in my family will grant that one holiday wish for me). ;-)
Having moved into a new home and had a baby, I don't know that I can ask for anything more this year, but I've rounded up a few items that I...
My picks are an assorted list of beautifully designed things I've seen over the past week. Each is fun and somewhat unexpected in its own right, and I would do a little dance to find any one of them in my stocking this year!
Just a couple of months ago, my husband and I packed up everything we owned and drove across the country, with our dog and cat in-tow, to a new place in Seattle. Its been a big adjustment moving from our old home in Florida to a loft in the city, but we love it here so far. Now all we need to do is finish up with the decorating. So this holiday, I'll be asking for playful, modern gifts to dress up our new space and make it feel like home.
Hi, friends, and happy early holidays! You might notice a bit of a monochromatic hue to my holiday wish list -- this year, I'm craving black, white and wood tones in all shapes, sizes and (eek!) price ranges. Here's hoping I've been very good this year!
