How To: Sew a Fabric Tissue Cozy.

Materials

  • Fabric for the inside
  • Cordinating fabric for the outside
  • Sewing machine and thread
  • Cardboard for pattern
  • Sissors

First, create a rectangular pattern, 6x7", and cut it out of your fabric. Then copy it onto the outside fabric, adding a bit to each side. Add some trim, sew it up, and  sneeze...

Because mi madre lives about 400 miles away, I took the hassle-free route and called a florist to deliver flowers for her special day. But a cool, crafty and inexpensive alternative would have been to make her some of the Crafty Chica’s traditional south-of-the-border tissue paper flowers.
