School is out for the summer, and that means loads of down time. Need a kids craft idea to keep little hands busy? Making a mini fish tank is inexpensive and fun (even if you're a grown up!). I actually pulled the idea for this project from my own childhood. When I was a kid, I made one of these mini fish tanks for my dollhouse. I remember being so pleased with myself, because it looked so real with the tinted water, and the fish could actually float! This kid-friendly craft project is easy to execute, and with drying time included can be completed in about an hour.

Let's face it, we don't all want a huge, pink plastic Dreamhouse gracing our playrooms. While some people thrive on the modern dollhouse hobby, for playtime, modern dollhouses are hard to find and expensive to boot, a combination I'd never let my kids near. Erin at Sutton Grace solved this dilema by making her kids their own mod doll house, and you can too.
Last week MWT brought home this cute little two-story house with a request that it be remodeled for entry into a 'parade of homes' contest sponsored by the company for which he works. There was no word as to whether prizes will be given out to the best remodel, but, seriously, did I care?! Of course not! It was a teeny house just ready for a makeover! Here's the outcome:
I tried. Really, I tried. Some clever alliteration. A pun perhaps. But...nothing. No thoughtful titles or commentary on this tiny living space set up in a PC tower. So, I'll leave the task to you good people as you absorb the adorableness.
