Ask Curbly: TVs, Clawfoot Tubs, Cheap Organizing and Weird Beds

If you've never checked out our Ask a Question forum, now's the time to start. It's a perfect place to ask for help with home improvement and decor questions, and you can help others out by offering your own expert (or amateur) advice.

I thought I'd highlight some of the more interesting recent questions from the forum today (please add your answers or suggestions if you have any):

xox_nicole: How can I make a clawfoot tub into a couch?

I have always wanted a clawfoot tub, a la Breakfast at Tiffany's, but I've never been able to find anyone who has actually turned their clawfoot tub into a couch.  I've done a little research and found out that you're supposed to use a cut-off saw with a fiberous cutting blade, rather than a circular saw, to cut cast iron. Anyone done this before, or have any helpful tips about cutting cast iron tubs?

The problem at hand was those annoying, yet luxurious, down-filled back cushions.  Everytime anyone would get up from the loveseat, the back cushions were smashed down, seams all askew.  My compulsive self had to walk over, re-fluff, straighten and then I could move on.

Don't the best solutions just come to you in the simplest of ideas??

My first thought was to make some covered buttons and pull those through the cushions to give a modern...

The Q-Couch

by DIY Maven

The Q-Couch

Although it has nothing to do with James Bond, the possibilities of this snap-apart couch by FEEK just might be Q-worthy. Basically, the couch parts are sold in sections of two which you snap together to queue up seating of any length. Made of polymer, the Q-Couch is 100% waterproof and extremely light weight. A set of two will cost you about 100€ or about 138 U.S. I just have one question. Why not have interior and exterior corner pieces too to...
