Let's just ignore the fact that it is still 113 degrees where I live and pretend that I am gearing up for heavy use of my oven and stove in the cooler months ahead (please, please say there are cooler months ahead...).  It would stand to reason that with all that baking and pot-stirring, I'll probably be using my favorite oven mitts to help me do the job without any injury.  I've rounded up 12 of my favorite oven mitt and hot pad sewing projects to get me in the baking state of mind.
