I first saw this digustingly clever how-to over the summer, and thankfully, Instructables is giving it its due featurin' 'round Halloween time. From homemade fondant cranium folds to a tasty corn-syrupy blood accent, this project will provide quite a tasty conversation starter to you Hallow's Eve Bash.

My Bloody Valentine, Make an Anatomically Correct Bleeding Heart

Nothing says 'I love you' like a severed bleeding heart. Add a card and a ring embedded in the left Atrium and you've got just about the most romantic/mind-blowingly-gross Valentine I've ever seen.

  • One heart-shaped mold (find one here.) You could use a use a Valentine heart-shaped cake pan for a less restraining order inducing response.

Mold. It's BAD NEWS. As well as just being gross it can do some pretty rotten things to your lungs. Prevention is definitely the way to go, as once you've got mold it's the very devil to get rid of.
