I don't know about you, but I've been basically looking forward to Halloween since New Year's Eve. It's such a fun holiday! Candy, ghosts, and ghouls - oh my! Even though I absolutely adore All Hallow's Eve, I'll be the first to admit that the decor can end up on the tackier side of things. Ever on the hunt for classy Halloween decor, I decided to go glam instead. Ditch the traditional black and orange in favor of gold and glitz!
Christmas decor reassessment is underway at our place. I've grown so tired of the same tree, decorations, mantle lights and wreaths we've used year after year. Instead of buying new versions of our old stuff, I've decided to design and make our new holiday decor. Mr. Mod loves the traditional. Sorry, but he'll have to adjust to the new look of Christmas around here. First project: wreaths. As an appetizer, I've rounded up some not so ordinary...
It's wreath time, friends! Are you ready for this? I think you are. I think you were born ready, so let's do this!
First things first. This wreath is freaking awesome. Also, it's deceptively simple. Two good things for any DIY project, as far as I'm concerned. If you agree, let's see what we'll need to bring this colorful creature to life.
I love this wreath for two reasons. One, it's pretty dang cute. Two, it's seasonal without being Holiday-specific so you get more bang for your buck. I'll even throw in a third BONUS reason: it's a great jumping off point if you do want to make it holiday specific. It's all about the accessories, baby. Oh, and your color choices.
