More info, it's called Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework. Pictures galore. If you can get your hands on one, go for it. It's a wealth of information. There's more than one version, but the one linked is the year I have.

Oh I think I need the 1,000 Clever Sewing... whatever book. I know many tricks taught to me by my Mom and her sisters that worked in garment factories ages ago, but one can never know enough. Especially when one has decided to sew for a living. Thanks Maven. 


Oh and Readers Digest used to have a fabulous Needle Art book that might still be available. I have my Mom's.

Hey EJ! Glad you're back!! 


I do love my craft books! And those new knitting titles are fab. I must admit, I had already judged the Vampire book before I picked it up, thinking it would be a little over the top. The projects are beautiful. Although there is a 'bloody' scarf that is a little out there. :)

OMG! (Yes, I'm back, last wed. wonderful trip and all). Any why...This is fabulous adding all these great books of stuff to buy and give. My group of friends hold a weekly stich 'n bitch at the shows we're at, and I use my stich bibles "religiously". I am so glad to be back home...
