Apps are a part of our daily lives in so many ways – they help us get places, work out and they even remind us about appointments. And today I’m here to share even more ways that you can use your phone to organize every aspect of your life. Read on to check out my favorite organizational apps that will help you get your life in order.

1. Wunderlist – I use this app more than any other one on my phone, hands down. You can makes lists with reminders, due dates and then you can check them off when they’re done. And there’s a satisfying little bell that rings when check off your task. Get it here.

2. Google Drive – This is a great place to create documents because you can access them from your computer or from your phone when you’re out and about. Download it here.

3. Pinterest – You may not think of Pinterest as an organizational tool, but it’s actually one of my favorite ways to keep all of my recipes, project ideas and travel resources handy. Get the app here.

4. Focus Booster – If focusing is an issue for you (it is for most in this day and age!) then you’ll probably love this app that uses the pomodoro method to track your time. Check it out here.

5. Feedly – Keep all of your favorite blogs in one place with Feedly, an RSS feed reader. You can separate your blogs into categories and save your favorite posts. Get it here.

6. Evernote – Keep all of your notes and ideas safe with this app that lets you organize and share your thoughts with others. Check it out here.

7. Goodreads – I love this app for keeping tracks of books that I want to read. It also keeps track of books you’ve already read, and recommends new ones based on your ratings. See it here.

8. Wedding Planner by The Knot – I know, I know… this will not be applicable for everyone. But I thought it was worth mentioning for those who are planning a wedding because it has been a lifesaver for me. The checklist is my favorite feature… it makes sure you’re doing everything you need to do on time. Check it out here.

Thanks – I like how you’ve incorporated some apps that aren’t necessarily “organization” apps – like Pinterest. I am so dependent on Evernote now it’s not even funny – the sharing feature is a lifesaver for my family – we keep all of our shopping lists there – if you want something from the store you just add it to the right list (grocery / hardware / box store) and whenever we’re at a store we just check the shared list to see if there’s anything else we need. They had a little snafu with their privacy policy recently, but I think they’ve cleared that up now.
That’s a great tip for sharing shopping lists with family members… thanks Michael!!
