I like it because it's extremely attractive, especially for an adjustable lamp, as well as energy efficient!

At 64 eh, I am losing some of eyesight to read. Diffcult to admit, but,oh so true. I am a avid reader and this gift/prize would certainly help me now and many years to come. It would be a wonderful way to start the new year. You are the best for being so generous. Thanks.

Loooooove Room & Board!  I sleep on a R&B bed every night and house my pretty delicates in a R&B dresser.  Hands down THE BEST furniture buying and delivery experience ever (and I've never had the pleasure of setting foot into a store.) Keeping my fingers crossed that I win that de-luxe lamp!  Thanks guys.

I really like this lamp.  I just bought a house and have been considering track lighting--there's no lighting in my LR--but this would be even better!  And...I'm a musician, and could move it to see my music....

Heather on Jan 29, 2011:

Weeeee! I so need this! My husband currently has the lampshades turned UPSIDE down in an attempt to get "better light" for reading in the bedroom. HELP ME! :)

Vicki M. Miller on Jan 29, 2011:

Kelvin lighting will be perfect for all the sewing projects for my Grand-nieces & -nephews I have planned. These old eyes don't see as well as they used to, so lighting is essential! The MN days have been gray this winter so the Kelvin soft light will brighten the atmosphere in my room. Thank you for considering this entry.
