Curbly reader Katie tipped us off to her latest DIY project - a kitchen facelift. She's done a great job, and we especially like it because, unlike a lot of kitchen makeover projects we feature here on Monday, this wasn't a total gutting and revamp of an outdated, unfunctional kitchen. The cabinets, countertops, and appliances were all okay, Katie just did the finish work and brought everything together.
"My house was/is and fixer-upper. It’s been a long and patience growing process. No room is completely done, but I thought I’d share the room that is the closest to be complete. (I know your going to look at these pictures and say it looks done, but the floor are horrible… they are fake tiles that have glue and scratches all over them and they aren’t cut right around the edges of the room so food and dirt gets caught in them… so they will one day be replaced with real tile… But anyway… I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way my kitchen came out it gives me hope for the rest of my house"
