How to Turn an Altoid Tin into a Mini BBQ Grill

by on Sep 3, 2010

How cute is this teeny tiny Altoid Tin BBQ grill? The maker was inspired by the eBQ, but instead of using the standard rectangular tin, vmspionage used a Altoid Sours container.

Here are the materials used for its construction:

1 Altoids sours tin
4x 1.5″ sheet metal screws with wide heads (or 4x washers to match)
8x nuts to thread on screws
70mm metal computer fan guard
92mm metal computer fan guard

And here are the tools used:

Dremel tool with cutting wheel
Drill with bit slightly bigger than bolts
Tin snips
Pliers/Needle nose pliers
Screwdriver
Safety goggles and gloves
