Make an Anthropologie-Inspired Zig-Zag Pillow

by on Aug 8, 2010

Homemade throw pillow with different patterns of fabric.

Don’t you love it when people make great knock-offs of expensive stuff and then share the how-tos??? In this case, the pricey item is a zig-zag pillow from Anthropologie ($68) and the knockoff is the darling pillow pictured above, which, I have to say, I like better than the original. Here’s what you’ll need to whip one up:

  • pillow form
  • fabric, for front and back of pillow (enough to cover pillow form), zig-zag detail & end cap
  • disappearing fabric marking pen
  • measuring device, scissors, iron, ironing board, sewing machine, etc.
