Morgan's porch lacked privacy. It also provided no relief from the afternoon sun screaming into Morgan's living room. The answer to these conundrums? Slats.
As it turns out, they solved the aforementioned problems as well as added 'architectural interest' to Morgan's Brick House. I particularly like the slatted porch's minimal/zen quality.
