More Gorgeous Air Plant Displays

A couple of weeks ago we considered the beauty and growing techniques of Tillandsia, aka 'air plants'. That post sparked fellow Curblier thyrza to share some gorgeous pictures of air plant displays. The top image, which utilized silver chains and hoops is an original creation of thyrza's. I'm totally digging the alien/pod thing that's going on in this thyrza terrarium as well:

And check out these 'domes' of dripping Tillandsias Usneoides (Spanish hanging moss) that featured last fall at the London Design Festival. They were created by French designer Patrick Nadeau for Boffi.

I just made some new air plant mobiles if you want to check them out. I just love how versatile these plants are!

Awesome post, I love the hanging spanish moss.  I have some cool air plants that I display in sea urchin shells on my desk at work.  I constantly get comments about how cool they look, and I love the fact they are super easy to take care of.  I stumbed across Air plant design studios website and they have some cool stuff, for those interested their website is http://www.air-plants.com.
