This lovely creation comes to us from Gerardot & Co. Wine bottles were rescued from the recycling bin and turned into an outdoor tiki-like torch. (It might remind you of this project, which can be used indoors.) The supplies, listed below, only cost about $5.
- empty wine bottles
- teflon tape 1/2″
- copper top plate connector, threaded for 3/8″ – 16 thread rod
- 1″ split ring hanger, threaded for 3/8″ – 16 thread rod
- 1/2″ x 3/8″ copper coupling
- 1/2″ copper cap
- 2 hex nuts, threaded for 3/8″ – 16 thread rod
- 2 #10 x 1″ zinc-plated wood screws, for wood mounting
- 3/8″ – 16 zinc plated threded rod
- Tiki replacement wick
- torch fuel
