Kitchen Doodle Floor

by on Sep 17, 2008

Artist Olle Hemmendorff didn’t like his light wood kitchen floors. He wanted a simple, inexpensive and reversible alternative to refinishing them, so he bought some rolls of shiny white vinyl Contact-like paper and went to work. After the vinyl was down, he decided to turn the floor back into wood. With the help of a Sharpie, that is. The effect is amazing and, yes, temporary, which was everything Olle was hoping for.
